This contract is to procure new and replacement mobile data terminals (MDTs) from Law and Order Technology, LLC, in an amount not to exceed $585,000. The mobile data terminals would be used by the police department and the fire department. The units needed will replace 111 for the police department and 111 keyboards for new devices. The MDTs will allow users to communicate with Central Dispatch while providing real-time GPS location mapping and information relevant to the current task. Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a State Contract under Georgia State Contract # 99999-SPD-SPD0000161-0009.
