Description Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for yard waste processing and management with ELP Landscape Services in the amount of $256,648. This contracted service will be used to process and manage vegetative material collected by the City of Savannah’s weekly Yard Waste program. The method used for this procurement was the request for proposals (RFP), which evaluates criteria in addition to cost. The criteria used for this RFP included qualifications and experience, methodology, references, MWBE participation, local vendor participation, and fees. The contract was originally approved by City Council on February 14, 2018 in the amount of $222,000. The first renewal included a 5% increase due to changes in the market. This renewal includes an additional 10% increase to accommodate further market changes. This is the second of three renewal options available. The contract term shall be from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020. | |
