| Description Notification of an emergency purchase for boiler repairs at the Savannah Civic Center from Banks Boiler Service in the amount of $65,081. The Civic Center staff engages with vendors to routinely conduct inspections of the boilers located in the Civic Center. On a routine annual inspection of the Civic Center’s boiler, there were several defects that were discovered. Once the defects were discovered, the boilers were taken out of service as a precaution. This is an emergency due to the facility’s humidity levels. This vendor was selected because of time restraints and availability. Civic Center staff deemed a timely repair to be critical to prevent mold damage to the property and  health risks to the City staff and guests, if not addressed quickly. Delivery: Immediately. Terms: Net 30 days. The vendor was: 
 E.P. Banks Boiler Service (2265 Toledo Drive, Albany, GA 31705)(D) $65,081 
 A pre-bid conference was not conducted as this was an emergency procurement. (D) Indicates non-local, non-DBE business. Recommend approval.
