| Description Recommend approval to procure three dump trucks for the Sanitation Department's Litter Crews from Wade Ford, Inc. in the amount of $303,390. The dump body trucks will be fleet additions for the Sanitation Department to support the newly created Sanitation Litter Crews. These dump body trucks will help the Sanitation Department support the City of Savannah initiative. Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The contract used for this procurement is a State of Georgia contract for administrative vehicles (Contract # 99999-SPD-ES40199373-009S). It was competitively bid by the State of Georgia and expires on November 30, 2022. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days. The vendor is: S.C. Wade Ford, Inc. (3860 South Cobb Drive, Smyrna, GA 30080)(D) $303,390 A pre-proposal meeting was not conducted as these dump trucks are being procured through the use of a state contract. (D) Indicates non-local, non-DBE business. Recommend approval.
