Description Recommend approval of Contract Modification No. 1 for Modular Walls for the Human Services Department with National Office Systems (Local) in the amount of $6,413. The CGC (Coastal Georgia Center) located at 305 Fahm Street is being made ready for the relocation of the Human Services Department as they vacate the Savannah Morning News building (1375 Chatham Parkway). The Human Services Department will be moving into lage, recently vacated, rooms formerly occupied by other City staff who were relocated to the Adams Municipal Complex on Gwinnett Street. Modular DIRTT walls were procured in the amount of $24,405 to create offices for supervisors within the Human Services Department at the CGC. Human Services staff has requested one additional wall system be procured to create an additional office for the Assistant Human Services Director. Because the total purchase price of the modular walls from National Office is more than $25,000 staff is recommending approval by City Council. This purchase is a Sole Source as National Office Systems is the exclusive sales representative of the DIRT modular wall system in the region, and DIRTT walls are being procured to match other modular walls in the facility to create a cohesive and seamless appearance and has the abbility to be repurposed. The total purchase price with Modification No. 1 will be $30,818 Recommend approval of contract modification No. 1 for modular walls for Human Services with National Office Systems(B)(local) in the amount of $6,413. (B) Indicates a local, non-DBE owned business.
