| Description Staff recommend acquiring +/-25.08 acres located adjacent to the Dean Forest Road Landfill. The land is mostly wooded and has two former homes that contribute no value to the property. An appraisal of the property was performed by a well-qualified third-party MAI-designated real estate appraiser. The appraised fair market value was $2,922,000 (as of June 2024). After much negotiation and the passage of time, the City and Seller have agreed upon a sale price of $3,350,000 with a closing to occur in January 2025. The property is strategic for future buffer and other purposes. | |
