This Development Agreement is being made between the Savannah Wildlife Rescue Center, Inc. and the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah.  

The Center is located on North Carolina and Louisiana Avenues in a section of Unincorporated Chatham County in East Savannah.  The Developer will be responsible for the construction of all water and sanitary sewer laterals connected into the City of Savannah water distribution and sanitary sewer conveyance system needed to serve the Center.  The City of Savannah water and sewer systems have the capacity to serve the 2.9 equivalent residential units (ERUs).

The Developer shall further pay to the City the sum of $4,975.43 Impact Fee pursuant to and in full satisfaction of the Development Fee Impact Ordinance, along with the $12,325.00 water and sewer connection fees per the 2.9 ERUs.  This agreement also requires the owner to remit a PILOT Payment until the property is annexed into the City.  The Developer agrees to make payments in lieu of taxes to the City with respect to each respective calendar year until the property is annexed.
