Description

This is for two, TL-3 Towable Trailer CROC Crash Solutions c/o Traffix Devices in the Amount of $85,080.

The TL-3 towable trailer attenuators will be assigned to the Solid Waste Department’s Street Cleaning Division and will replace units #5700 and #5702 as planned replacements under the City’s equipment replacement plan. The TL-3 towable trailer attenuators are used by the Street Cleaning Division to provide a protective barrier for employees and equipment while performing street sweeping and cleaning operations on roadways. The units are designed to absorb the impact of an errant vehicle, helping protect City personnel and equipment while work is being performed in active traffic areas.

The competitive bidding process was not utilized. Per Section 2-4152 of the City's purchasing ordinance, the City is authorized to purchase goods or services through a cooperative contract, Sourcewell Contract #042225-TFX, which expires 6/27/2029. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days. The vendor is:
