Description This contract is for installing new ballfield lights from MUSCO Sports Lighting, LLC in the amount of $474,118. The ballfield lights will be installed at Daffin Park and Scarborough Park and will provide more youth and adult sports teams with the opportunity to conduct practices and games during evening hours. Currently, there are limited lighted fields across the City. The additional lights will expand play locations for teams as well as community associations and neighborhood residents while increasing the potential to generate revenue from rental groups for the same purposes, including tournament play.
This procurement is being done using Sourcewell contract # 071619-MSL. It was competitively bid by Sourcewell, and it expires on 8/7/23. Per section 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a cooperative contract. Terms: Net 30 days. Delivery: As requested.
