Petitioner, Joe Guisti of Kimley-Horn, representing Highlands Park Commercial LLC (HPC), is the owner of real property located at 143 Shellbark Way (PIN 21016 02118) in the Godley Station/Highland Park area of Savannah. The petitioner seeks a stormwater utility easement on and across the adjacent City-owned property at 137 Shellbark Way. The purpose of this easement is to install and maintain a stormwater pipe extending from HPC's onsite stormwater facility to the City’s existing stormwater pond. The proposed easement is 2,233 square feet (or 0.051 acres) and measures approximately 28’ x 80’.

A third-party MAI-designated appraiser has valued this easement at $6,000, and the property owner has agreed to this purchase price. The request has been reviewed and approved by the Office of the City Attorney, Real Estate Services, Planning and Urban Design, Water Resources, Park and Tree, Stormwater, and SDOT.

Further request authorization for the City Manager to execute any associated closing documents.
