Description This contract is to procure Microsoft Unified Services from Insight in the amount of $64,444. The City of Savannah is heavily reliant on Microsoft products and services to conduct business daily. As the original equipment manufacturer of the software requiring support, only Microsoft engineers have the proprietary operating systems information and application code access in Microsoft 365 products. Current support with Microsoft does not provide timely software upgrades, technical support, and troubleshooting assistance at the expertise level required to avoid negative impacts on the City’s operational mission.
This is an annual contract with two renewal options. Year 2 pricing is $90,220.25 and year 3 pricing is $90,674.72. Per section 2-4554 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a cooperative contract. The contract used for this procurement is Omina contract #23-6692-03 for Technology Products, Solutions, and Related Services. It was competitively bid by Omnia and expires on 4/30/2026. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days.
