23. Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract for Multi-Station Playground Structures with GameTime c/o Dominica Recreation Products Inc., in an Amount Not to Exceed $1,147,692. This equipment will be used to create Savannah's first signature playground which will be located at Daffin Park, at the corner of East Victory Drive and Waters Avenue. Description

This is for multi-station playground structures with GameTime c/o Dominica Recreation Products, Inc., in an Amount Not to Exceed $1,147,692. This equipment will be used to create Savannah's first signature playground which will be located in Daffin Park at the corner of East Victory Drive and Waters Avenue. The construction of the signature playground is one of the capstone projects of the recreation reimagined initiative, which is focused on creating and providing high-quality recreation facilities and experiences for residents. When completed, the playground will serve ages 2-12, be fully ADA compliant, and include a new restroom and splash pad.  

 

Per section 2-4152 of the City's Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services using a cooperative contract. The Onmina Partners contract used for this procurement is GameTime c/o Dominica Recreation Products, Inc. Contract #2017001134 for playground and outdoor fitness equipment, site accessories, surfacing, and related products and services and it expires on June 30, 2026.
