| Description Modification No. 1 is for replacement vehicles for the Savannah Police Department (SPD) with Santee Automotive, LLC, in the amount of $59,001.88. The Fleet Services Department is requesting this modification to the existing contract, which was originally approved by City Council on September 25, 2025, for $3,821,588.31. On October 6, 2025, Fleet Services was informed by Santee Automotive that Ford will be closing orders for the 2026 Ford Escape and discontinuing the model altogether. As a result, this modification authorizes the replacement of seven Ford Escapes with 2026 Ford Explorers at an additional total cost of $59,002. The vehicles meet or exceed all specifications and operational requirements of the Savannah Police Department. The total contract amount, including this modification, is now $3,880,590.19. | |
