This is for an annual contract to purchase maintenance and repair service with Motorola Solutions in the amount of $130,237. Public Safety, Public Works and Water Resources uses the ASTRO radio equipment for communication support. The maintenance agreement covers radio network monitoring, technician dispatch services, telephone/online technical support, preventative maintenance, security update service, remote security patch installation, and onsite infrastructure repair and replacement. The maintenance agreement with Motorola Solutions, Inc. is critical to ensure authorized, knowledgeable, and timely vendor maintenance and support if and when it is necessary.This is a sole source because of the complex design and architecture of the radio system and Motorola. The original provider does not allow other vendors to perform primary maintenance and support of its system. This is a two-year maintenance agreement for FY25 and FY26, totaling $260,472.59.
