This is a notification of an emergency purchase to procure Southside generator replacement in the amount of $77,277. The requesting department is seeking to purchase a replacement generator in order to bring our Emergency Radio Services back online and provide stable services. The Southside tower location serves as the primary site, which hosts the SEGARRN (Southeast Georgia Regional Radio Network). The consequences of not replacing the Southside Generator immediately will cause all municipalities in the Segarm Network to experience an outage of emergency radio services. This vendor was chosen because they are our current provider for maintenance, and they have a quick turnaround time. Approved by City Manager September 9, 2025. Delivery: Immediately.
