This is for Contract Modification No. 6 for the Dean Forest Road Landfill Expansion (CIP: SA0103) to Hussey, Gay, and Bell (HGB) in the amount of $58,756. This contract modification request will allow HGB to continue professional engineering and project management services through the anticipated remainder of the Phase 1D Dean Forest Road Landfill construction project. The original budget has been fully utilized since the contract has extended beyond the original Phase II contract end date (October 12, 2021). The project extension was primarily due to 217 unavoidable delay days (i.e., weather/rain). The current projected substantial completion date is 12/23/2022. HGB provides professional engineering, project management, construction administration and documentation, certification surveys, and progress documentation reports in accordance with the solid waste permit issued by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division.

The original contract was approved by Council in May of 1999 in the amount of $141,345. The total amount of the contract including this modification is $1,934,237.
