Savannah Airport Commission (SAC) and Mead & Hunt engaged Walker Consultants to perform a comprehensive assessment of the airport’s Economy Parking Structures and the Long Term Hourly Parking Structure. Walker conducted a detailed visual evaluation of the structural and waterproofing systems to identify necessary repairs. Their final report outlined recommended corrective actions, and based on those findings, SAC initiated the first phase of repairs on the North Economy and Long Term Hourly parking structure. Following the assessment, SAC issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified firms to perform restoration and maintenance work on the North Economy parking structure, as well as roof maintenance on the Long Term Hourly parking structure. This project was advertised on February 15, 2026, with bids opened on March 31, 2026. SAC received six bids, with the lowest bid submitted in the amount of $620,000.
