Description

On April 30, 2020, staff received a Notice of Intent from the Federal Aviation Administration of an Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Supplemental Discretionary Grant offer for the Air Cargo Apron Construction. This project includes the construction of a new Air Cargo Apron to service a new Air Cargo Facility which will be located on the north side of Gulfstream Road within the northwest quadrant of the airfield. The project includes approximately 105,426 sq. yards of concrete ramp. The apron will will be designed for multiple aircraft and tenants serving the new Air Cargo Facility. Phase I and Phase II of the Air Cargo Ramp project is budgeted at $24,451,320.00.
