| Description On April 20, 2020, staff submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration an Airports Grants Application for Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) for a grant of federal funds. The purpose of the grant is to maintain safe and efficient airport operations. Funds provided under the CARES Act must only be used for purposes directly related to the Airport. Such purposes can include the reimbursement of an airport’s operational and maintenance expenses or debt service payments. Funds provided under the grant will be governed by the same principles that govern “airport revenue”. The grant was awarded on Monday, April 27th. | |
