Uresh Patel for Yash Investments, LLC t/a Eagle Market is requesting a Class E (Beer and Wine) (by the package) alcohol license at 2120 West Bay Street, which is located between Tuten Avenue and Graham Avenue in Aldermanic District 1.  The subject property is located in the Hudson Hill Neighborhood and in the Alcohol Density Overlay District (AD-1) which includes portions of the Hudson Hill/Bayview, West Savannah, Woodville/Bartow, and the Bay Street Viaduct Area neighborhoods.

As part of the Alcohol Density Overlay District, off-site consumption is permitted as an ancillary retail package store (accessory sales of beer and wine by the package) provided that the principal use has at least 5,000 square feet of retail area.  The retail area square footage cannot include any area designated for package sales.  The applicant will have at least 5,050 square feet of sales area and meets the intent of the Alcohol Density Overlay District.

No concerns were noted by Savannah Police Department; however, concerns were noted by neighborhood association.
