| Description Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for painting materials with Contractors Depot up to $48,000. Contractors and volunteer organizations will apply the painting material on homes owned by low-income, mainly elderly, Savannah homeowners as part of the Housing & Neighborhood Services Department’s Summer Home Repair Program. The Department matches volunteer organizations with homes needing repair. The volunteer organizations provide labor while the City provides supplies and coordination. This contract was originally approved by Council on June 6, 2019 in the amount of $42,230.34. The increase in annual cost is due to the additional tint base that is needed to mix the darker colors that are being selected for use on the home repair projects. This contract expires on December 31, 2020. This is the first of four annual renewal options available. | |
