Description Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for gate and tapping valves with Consolidated Pipe & Supply in the amount of $93,721.55 and Core & Main L.P. in the amount of $32,398.12, for a total contract amount of $126,119.67. The Water Distribution Department uses the gate and tapping valves to control water flow and to allow for the repair and maintenance of the system and replacement of valves as needed. The gate and tapping valves will allow connections for new developments without having to interrupt service already being provided to the citizens and commercial customers. This inventory is maintained at the City's Central Warehouse and is accessible to the Water Distribution Department on an as-needed basis. This contract was originally bid and approved by Council on January 4, 2018. This is the last of three annual renewal options available.
