Title 6. Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract Renewal for the Annual Maintenance of Permitting and Inspection Tracking Software with Tyler Technologies in the Amount of $87,675.82 (Event No. 8190)
Strategic Priority Good Government
Description Recommend approval for the renewal of an annual maintenance contract for EnerGov software from Tyler Technologies in the amount of $87,675.82. Multiple City departments including: Development Services, Traffic Engineering, Special Events, Film and Tourism, Savannah Police and Savannah Fire use the system to track permitting and inspection activities for: new construction, food trucks, special events, fire prevention, business location and short-term vacation rental approvals, etc. The application provides a centralized location for storing and tracking important data related to permits and is accessible by employees across the organization, thus streamlining the permitting process. It also provides secured access for the remittance of permitting fees. Software maintenance is used to provide user and software support, training, configuration, implementation and project management resources. This is a sole source procurement as Tyler Technologies is the original manufacturer of the EnerGov software and is the only vendor that can perform maintenance and support on its product. S.S. Tyler Technologies (Plano, TX)(D) $87,675.82 (D) Indicates non-local, non-DBE business
