31. Authorize the City Manager to Execute an Annual Contract for Low Voltage Cabling with Netplanner (LOCAL) in an Amount Not to Exceed $265,000. These services will be used to provide low voltage cabling at various City of Savannah facilities by the Innovation + Technology Services Department. (ITS)

Description

This annual contract is for the procurement of Low Voltage Cabling Services from Netplanner in an amount not to exceed $265,000. These services will be used to provide low voltage cabling at various City of Savannah facilities by the ITS Department. These services will also provide security access control equipment and services, as well as security camera equipment and installation. This ranges from ethernet and fiber optic cabling to access control, including wiring to badge readers to door magnets to assisting with programming and upgrades for the access control system as a whole.

 

The method used for this procurement was a request for proposals (RFP), which evaluates criteria in addition to cost. The proposals were evaluated on the basis of the Proposer’s qualifications and experience, including support capabilities, technical capabilities, fees, references, and DBE participation goals. Two proposals were received in response to this RFP. One proposal was deemed non-responsive. The proposal was advertised, opened, and reviewed. The contract term expires on June 26th, 2025. This contract also includes four (4) available annual renewal options. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days.
