Description

​​This is to procure a contract for Sludge Pond Dredging from Water Solve in an amount not to exceed $1,400,843.00

 

The Water Reclamation Department will utilize this contract ​to dredge the sludge ponds at the Georgetown Treatment Facility and Wilshire Treatment Facility.

Although Water Solve was not the lowest bidder among the four responsive proposals received, they are the lowest qualified bidder capable of completing the project in accordance with the required specifications and standards. A review of each bid submission and the vendors’ qualifications was conducted. Based on this review and additional verification from Water Solve, it is evident that sludge pond dredging is a primary component of their business model, indicating both extensive experience and specialization in this type of work.

The proposal was advertised, opened, and reviewed. The contract term expires on June 25, 2026 Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days. The bidders were:
