Description
T-Mobile South LLC (T-Mobile) currently leases space on top of the City’s water tank at 400 Airport Avenue at the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport for placement of cellular communications equipment. T-Mobile is seeking to upgrade the equipment at the leased premises, and this upgrade will require an amendment to the existing lease. The Third Amendment provides authority to upgrade the equipment in exchange for additional rent of $500 per month. The additional rent will increase the total rent paid at the location to $44,394 per year. No other terms or conditions will change. This matter has been reviewed and approved by the Water Resources Department, Real Estate Services Department, and the City’s Georgia Municipal Association telecommunications consultant.
