Title Motion to Award Annual Contract for Microsoft Enterprise Licensing to Insight Public Sector (Event No. 5144) | |
Description Recommend approval to procure a three-year contract for Microsoft enterprise licensing from Insight Public Sector in the amount of $511,481.44 for the first year. Microsoft requires a three-year agreement, which will bring the three-year total for 2,000 licenses to $1,534,444.32. The agreement will be used by the Information Technology Department to provide licensing and upgrades for Microsoft software. The contract terms will be from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2020. This covers all licensing and upgrades for the Microsoft software specified in the agreement. The software products that are licensed under this contract include Windows 10, Microsoft Office, SQL Server, Exchange Server, and the core Client Access Licenses for Windows Server, Exchange, System Center and SharePoint for 2,000 users on the City’s network. | |
