| Description This contract is for the procurement of a Short Term Rental Management Software with Deckard Technologies in the amount of $92,500. This contract renewal with Deckard Technologies, Inc. will provide continued access to the Rentalscape Short-Term Vacation Rental (STVR) Management Software. Rentalscape serves as the City's centralized platform for administering, monitoring, and enforcing STVR regulations and supports collaboration among Planning and Urban Design, Revenue, and Code Compliance. Renewal of this agreement will ensure the uninterrupted operation of the City's STVR program, and maintain efficient regulatory oversight, and support the City's ongoing efforts to protect the neighborhood's quality of life, public safety, and the general welfare of residents and visitors. This is a 3 year contract: The software continues to streamline the STVR application and permitting process, facilitate complaint management and enforcement activities, and provide valuable reporting and revenue tracking capabilities. Additionally, Rentalscape assists the City in verifying compliance with applicable hotel/motel excise taxes and business tax certificate requirements through access to booking and revenue data. Renewal of this agreement will ensure uninterrupted operation of the City's STVR program, maintain efficient regulatory oversight, and support the City's ongoing efforts to protect neighborhood quality of life, public safety, and the general welfare of residents and visitors. This renewal qualifies as a sole source procurement pursuant to City of Savannah Code Section 2-4064. This is a sole source because the vendor is the only known supplier of this service and is the only vendor that can perform maintenance for the system. The Rentalscape software is an existing, proprietary platform currently utilized by the City for the administration and enforcement of the Short-Term Vacation Rental (STVR) program. Continued service, compatibility with existing data and workflows, and system functionality are available only through Deckard Technologies, Inc., making this renewal available from no other source.A pre-bid conference was not conducted as this is a sole-source procurement.
