Description

This is to procure filter belts from GSM Engineered Fabrics, LLC in an amount not to exceed $57,194. This contract will be used by the Public Works and Water Resources Department for the separation of solids and liquids in the dewatering process of sludge at the President Street Plant. The filters are stretched along a belt press and travel through a series of rollers that compress the sludge, removing water that may be trapped in the sludge that was not drained during the gravity draining zone. This allows the plant to transport “dried solids” versus liquid sludge to the landfill.

The proposal was advertised, opened, and reviewed.  The contract term is for one (1) year and includes four (4) available renewal options.  Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days.
