Description Recommend approval to procure a Kubota tractor from Hendrix Machinery, Inc. in the amount of $27,151.74. Hendrix Machinery, Inc. is an authorized licensed distributor of Kubota tractors in the State of Georgia. The Police Department will use the Kubota tractor to maintain the Police Training Facility (shooting range) and to help develop other training areas at that location. This tractor will replace unit #5401 due to it reaching the end of its life and is no longer cost effective to maintain. This purchase will be made using the Sourcewell Cooperative. The contract was competitively bid by Sourcewell and awarded to Kubota Tractor Corporation for its authorized distributors. The contract expires on August 18, 2021. The City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance Section 2-4152 authorizes the use of cooperative purchasing agreements. | |
