| Description Recommend approval to award a construction contract for the East Savannah waterline replacement project to Southern Champion Construction, Inc. in the amount of $771,320.00. The services will be used by the Public Works and Water Resources Department to install approximately 8,400 linear feet of 6-inch-diameter waterline in the East Savannah neighborhood, located in Aldermanic District 3. Five vendors were pre-qualified to bid on this project; three of those five submitted bids. This project included a DBE goal of 18%. The recommended bidder submitted DBE participation in the amount of 18% using Frankie Thompson Enterprise. | |
