Recommend approval to authorize the City Manager to execute Contract Modification No. 1 for Furniture for Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center (PARC) in the reduction amount of $852.60 with Exemplis Corp and in the reduction amount of $12,144.46 with National Office Furniture.

The original contract was for furniture which will be used by the Office of Capital Projects Management to furnish the PARC with training tables, office workstations, café and game room furniture, desks, and chairs. 

This contract was originally approved buy Council on March 14, 209 in the amount of $130,997.12 to National Office Furniture and in the amount of $31,637.34 to Exemplis Corp.  The total amount of this contract to date, including this reduction is $118,852.66 with National Office Furniture and $30,784.74 with Exemplis Corp.
