With rising interest in Southern U.S. travel, Visit Savannah has launched a three-year international marketing plan. Part of that plan includes a programmatic media campaign that offers the opportunity to promote the airport’s nonstop flights to international gateways. Engagements will start in the UK and Ireland and expand to other markets throughout the strategic three-year campaign. In addition, Visit Savannah will interact with travel planners in exploration of potential marketing and promotional opportunities that will increase international visitors through SAV. By contributing $100,000 towards the marketing plan, the Airport’s nonstop flights to New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Atlanta can be highlighted as the preferred entry point to Savannah for international visitors. This commitment will further support Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport’s efforts in pursuing international flight operations.
