Recommend approval to procure replacement vehicles with Wade Ford in the amount of $1,753,070. The Fleet Services Department will use this purchase to provide 61 replacement vehicles to the City’s fleet. The vehicles will be utilized by Code Enforcement, Recycling, Storm Water, Facility Maintenance, Information Services, Human Resources, Utility Services, Recreational Maintenance, President Street Plant, Cemeteries, Residential Refuse, Commercial Refuse, Development Services, Park Maintenance, Senior Services, Traffic and Street Maintenance Departments.

Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The contract used for this procurement is a State of Georgia (Contract # 99999-spd-es401993373-09s, 10660-ws, 10590-ws). It was competitively bid by the State of Georgia and expires January 15, 2022.
