This contract is for the procurement of travel services and lodging from Duluth Travel in the amount not to exceed $120,000. Savannah Police Department (SPD) is seeking to streamline and automate its travel services. Currently, the process involved a significant amount of manual work, including booking, reimbursement processing, and tracking travel expenses. This leads to inefficiencies and increased operational costs. To address these issues, SPD proposes to enter into an agreement with Duluth Travel, a reputable travel management company. This agreement will enable SPD to leverage Duluth Travels automated travel management system. Some benefits include automation of travel services, cost efficiency, enhanced compliance and real-time access to travel data will facilitate better decision making budget management.

Per section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of contracts from governmental agencies.
