The purpose for adoption of this ordinance is to amend the FY2026 Revenue Ordinance to establish the Stormwater Utility Rate Ordinance.  Adoption of this Amendment to the Revenue Ordinance will provide for a new section entitled “STORMWATER FEES” inclusive of General Information; Definitions; Stormwater User Fee Charges and Billing Rates; Parcel Classifications; Stormwater User Fee Charge Exemptions; Stormwater User Fee Credits; Stormwater Inspections; Stormwater User Fee Charge Billing, Delinquencies and Collections; Billing Appeals and Hearings.  The Stormwater Utility Rate Ordinance shall also provide for an effective date; severability; restate and reaffirm the Code of Ordinances, as modified hereby; repeal all code provisions, ordinances, or parts thereof in conflict herewith; and for other purposes.  

Implementation of this Stormwater Utility Rate Ordinance will enable the City to implement a Stormwater User Fee System to customers of developed property in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
