Description

This is for ShotSpotter Subscription for Phase I & II contract from Shotspotter in the amount of $274,458 annually for a three-year contract. 


This renewal is currently budgeted within SPD’s contractual budget and locks in pricing for a three-year term, from February 2026 through February 2029. Securing a multi-year agreement allows for more accurate and predictable budget forecasting for this service.The renewal covers four square miles at an annual cost of $274,458.00 for each year of the three-year contract term. ShotSpotter services provide accurate, real-time detection and location data for gunfire incidents within each coverage area. Approval is requested to renew services with this vendor for the full budgeted cost across FY 26, FY 27, and FY 28. This is a sole-source procurement. SPD currently utilizes ShotSpotter subscription services, and maintaining continuity is critical to avoid compatibility issues and any interruption in service 
delivery. 

The cost breakdown annually is: 
1. FY26: $274,458
2. FY27: $274,458
3. FY28: $274,458

Three-Year Total Cost $823,374
