Description

This contract is for the procurement of Aluminum Sulfate from Chemtrade Chemicals Corporation in an amount not to exceed $800,000. Liquid aluminum sulfate is used at the Industrial and Domestic Water Plant in the water treatment process to assist in the coagulation and removal of solids from incoming raw water prior to sedimentation. Aluminum Sulfate usage is based on two variables: fluctuating raw water quality and industrial customer demands. Aluminum Sulfate helps with providing safe drinking water to citizens and meets industry standards. The Industrial and Domestic Water Plant currently uses 2,426 tons of aluminum sulfate to treat 16.75 billion gallons of water annually. Delivery: As needed.Terms: Net 30 days.
