Description This is to procure a contract for manhole monitoring equipment from Kazmier & Associates in the amount not to exceed $200,000. The Lift Station Maintenance and Sewer Maintenance Departments will use this equipment to communicate with the lift station and sewer system. The City’s Wastewater Conveyance Department began installing the alarms in 2013 to provide service to the City’s customers. The monitoring equipment provides communication and monitors over 250 manhole monitoring alarm devices and 200 lift station monitoring alarm devices throughout the City sewer system. The equipment prevents sanitary sewer overflows from sewer manholes by giving advanced warning in the event sewage levels rise in manholes. The mission devices are to the cloud via cellular services. Kazmier & Associates is the manufacturer's authorized sales representative. This is a sole source because this vendor manufactures all Mission equipment in the state of Georgia. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days. The vendor is: S.S. Kazmier & Associates (Alpharetta, GA)(D) $200,000 A pre-proposal meeting was not conducted as this is a sole source.
