Description Recommend approval to purchase 29 marked pursuit utility vehicles, 13 unmarked mid-size sedans, and 6 white mid-size sedans from Wade Ford in the amount of $1,381,074.20. The Fleet Services Department will use these vehicles to replace police units that are no longer economical to maintain and repair. These police patrol vehicles will be used by the Savannah Police Department for routine law enforcement services. Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The contract used for this procurement is a State of Georgia contract for police pursuit vehicles. It was competitively bid by the State of Georgia and expires August 15, 2020. | |
