| Description Chatham County is currently designing Chevis Road roadway and drainage improvements from Wild Heron Road to US Highway 17 / Ogeechee Road. The City will reimburse the County for the engineering and construction services necessary to design and install 2,400 to 2,800 feet of 8" diameter water main, including existing water laterals and fire hydrants. The water mains are in conflict with proposed stormwater mains and other roadway improvements. The City shall reimburse $86,572.00 for engineering design services and actual cost of water main relocation, estimated to be between $400,000.00 and $500,000.00. | |
