Description Recommend approval of a purchase for three dump Trucks from Roberts International Trucks, Inc. in the amount of $374,997. The Street Cleaning, Street Maintenance, and Stormwater Management Departments will use the three dump trucks to replace units 2701, 0202, and 8248 which have reached their end of useful life and are no longer economical to maintain. This event was sent out as event number 8756 as a Savannah First event. The City of Savannah did not receive any bids from local City of Savannah vendors. The event was then released again to invite all vendors to bid. The bid was advertised, opened, and reviewed. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days. The bidders were: L.B. Roberts International Trucks, Inc. (Garden City, GA)(D) $374,997 Freightliner of Savannah (Port Wentworth, GA)(D) $497,817 A pre-proposal conference was not conducted.
