Description Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for water level monitoring equipment and accessories with Siemens Industry, Inc. in the estimated amount of $54,217.00. The contract will be used to purchase 20 ultrasonic level controllers, 20 programming devices, and 40 transducers to monitor water levels at City sanitary sewer lift stations. The City of Savannah owns, operates and maintains 165 lift stations that discharge to four water quality control plants. These collection systems consist of more than 700 miles of sanitary sewer lines, 100 miles of force mains, and 20,000 sanitary sewer utility access holes. This is the second of three renewal options available. Bids were originally received on February 23, 2016. This contract was originally approved by Council on March 15, 2016 in the amount of $52,687.00. The contract term will be from December 20, 2018 through December 31, 2019. | |
