Description

These contracts are for furniture purchases from The HON Company LLC, DARRAN Furniture Industries, Inc., Indiana Furniture Industries, Fellowes Contract Interiors, and OFS Company supplied through Mason, Inc. to furnish the new SPD Northwest Precinct, in an amount of $400,884.67.
 

The purchases include office desks and cabinets, cubicles, office chairs, tech center workstation furniture, conference and training room furniture, tech shop furniture, breakroom furniture, lounge seating, interview room furniture, and storage and filing components.
 

The HON Company, LLC, DARRAN Furniture Industries, Inc., Indiana Furniture Industries, Fellowes Contract Interiors, and OFS Company are approved vendors with the State of Georgia. These statewide contracts are established for convenience and are available for use by all State and Local public entities. The State of Georgia used a competitive bidding process through the Department of Administrative Services to select The HON Company, LLC, DARRAN Furniture Industries, Inc., Indiana Furniture Industries, Fellowes Contract Interiors, and OFS Company to serve as providers for these commodities. Authorized retailer, Mason Inc., will oversee the ordering, delivery, and installation of the furniture.

 

Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The contracts used for this procurement are competitively bid Georgia State Contracts #99999-001-SPD0000198-0019, #99999-001-SPD0000198-0025, #99999-001-SPD0000198-0013, #99999-001-SPD0000198-0068, and #99999-001-SPD0000198-0036 . These contracts expire on November 30, 2026. Installation of the furniture is scheduled to occur in the fourth quarter of 2026.
