This is for Contract Modification No. 2 for Towing Class II and VII Vehicles with Yarbrough Enterprise, Inc. dba Tim's Towing & Recovery in an amount not to exceed $45,000. 

This contract was approved by Council on November 10, 2022, between the City and Yarbrough Enterprise, Inc.dba Tim's Towing & Recovery in the original amount of $77,200 for towing services for disabled City vehicles and equipment. Contract Modification No. 1 increased the contract by $48,000, bringing the total contract amount to $125,200. Contract Modification No. 2 will increase the contract amount by $45,000 to provide sufficient funding for anticipated towing services through the remainder of the current contract term. Approval of this modification will increase the total contract value from $125,200 to $170,200. 

The contract provides towing services for disabled City vehicles and equipment, including various types of heavy vehicles and equipment. In addition, the contract provides after-hours and weekend tire repair services for police vehicles and light trucks. Approval of this modification will ensure uninterrupted towing services and continued operational support for City departments through the current contract term. The current contract expires on November 9, 2026, and has one annual renewal option remaining.
