Title
34. Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract for Trimble Unity Professional Services Upgrade with Woolpert, Inc. in the Amount of $64,000. (ITS)
Strategic Priority
GOAL 6:  Always Be a High-Performing Government
Description

This is for a professional services agreement with Woolpert, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $64,000. Woolpert will provide consulting, project management, and implementation services required to migrate the City’s current Cityworks AMS Online environment to the vendor-supported Trimble Unity Maintain platform.

The City's existing Cityworks AMS platform requires an upgrade to ensure continued vendor support, maintain long-term system sustainability, and preserve compatibility with the City’s current integrations and reporting tools. Transitioning to Trimble Unity Maintain modernizes the City’s enterprise asset management systems and supports the City's GPS Initiative by improving system reliability and maintainability. Woolpert will deliver the following services on a time-and-materials basis over an estimated four‑month implementation period:

  • Project management and system design
  • Migration planning and testing
  • Validation of existing integrations, dashboards, reports, and configurations
  • Migration of reports to Active Reports and style updates
  • User training and quality assurance
  • Production deployment and post‑implementation support
  • User acceptance testing and production cutover support

This phased approach is designed to minimize implementation risk and operational downtime.

In accordance with Section 2‑4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, cooperative purchasing is authorized. This procurement utilizes GSA cooperative contract 47QTCA25D002W, competitively bid and awarded to Woolpert, Inc. The contract is valid through December 9, 2029.
