Description

This contract is to procure stormwater structure inspection services from Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood (GMC) (LOCAL) in an amount not to exceed $665,000. The Stormwater Management Division will utilize this contract for applications such as Field Maps and Survey123 to facilitate monthly inspections and structural condition assessments. Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) will deliver a comprehensive list of recommended maintenance activities, along with detailed reports on the number of inspections completed and the miles of pipe and ditches inspected. Additionally, GMC will coordinate closely with the City to ensure that all inspection data is provided in a format that integrates seamlessly with the City's existing Geographic Information System (GIS). 

 

These inspections are mandated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit Program to conduct monthly inspections of stormwater structures, including pipes, inlets, and manholes. Compliance with these regulations is essential to ensure the effective management and maintenance of the City's stormwater infrastructure. This contract will not only ensure NPDES Permit Program compliance but also contribute to the proactive management and upkeep of vital stormwater infrastructure.

 

Per Division 10 section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of other governmental agencies’ contract pricing. The contract used for this procurement is Henry County contract # HC-23-20, which expires January 16, 2027. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days.
