The existing restrooms within the Fleet Services Building have aging finishes, fixtures, and building components that have reached the end of their useful life and require replacement to improve functionality and support ongoing operations. This project provides all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to renovate seven existing restrooms within the Fleet Services Building located on Sallie Mood Drive. The work includes demolition and replacement of existing finishes, flooring, wall tile, lighting, painting, plumbing fixtures, restroom partitions, lockers, mirrors, exhaust fans, restroom accessories, and associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components, including minor HVAC modifications. The project will modernize the existing facilities, improve functionality, and replace aging finishes and fixtures. 

Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The contract used for this procurement is a State of Georgia contract for Indefinite Quantity Construction (Contract #99999-SPD-S20260602-0025). It was competitively bid by the State of Georgia and expires on June 2, 2027.

Recommend approval to authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Lynn Construction through State contract for the renovation of the Sallie Mood Fleet Services Center Restrooms in the amount of $280,000.
