Description

This procurement is for an annual contract for grounds maintenance for City-owned FEMA lots from Sam Jay Services, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $180,000. The contract will be used by the Park & Tree Department for mowing, cutting overgrowth, edging curbs, and debris removal on 476 City-owned lots and properties. The services will ensure that all City-owned vacant lots are properly maintained within a three-week rotation during the growing season. The City’s Greenscapes ROW (right-of-way) Division has used this contractor in the past with good success. Without a contract, the department could not adequately maintain all of the parcels and the lots would become overgrown and unsightly. The bid was advertised, opened, and reviewed. A pre-bid meeting was conducted. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days.
