This is for modification no. 1 of an annual contract for multifunction copier equipment for multifunction copier equipment with Automated Business Resources in an amount not to exceed $288,055. This contract modification will extend the contract for two (2) additional years. The City of Savannah will use this contract to distribute multifunction devices throughout City offices. These devices will be connected to the City’s network and will provide printing, copying, scanning, and faxing functions.

The monthly fees are based on the volume of each copier. The current fleet has been underutilized, so ABR is proposing a 5.5% reduction in the cost per page. This will be based on annual renewals. The current cost per copy for black and white is $.0147 and for color is $.0630. The first extended renewal cost per copy for black and white is $.0139 and for color is $.059. The second extended renewal cost per copy for black and white is $.0134 and for color is $.057. The estimated annual amount for this contract is based each year on historical use. This contract includes copiers, toner cartridges, printers, scanners, maintenance, and normal repairs. This contract was originally bid and approved by Council on November 9, 2017, for $455,000.
